A steady flow of bookings from travel companies, hotels and tour operators for the 2025 season is reported.
We are therefore excited and eagerly follow the market to see when accommodation capacity explodes. For now, I think that anyone who wants to go on a trip to Norway in the period 1 June - 1 September can still book overnight stays. But I'm not sure how close to Christmas we will get before these moons are filled up.
Tours for June 2025 are now filling up quickly according to what the rumors suggest. So it will be extremely exciting to see where this ends up in sum of the number of tourists and in % turnover for the industry.
But, we have both great nature and a temperature tourists from various parts of Europe and further south just envy us. Since Norway largely lacks extreme heat and tropical nights.

The market in camping tourism has also risen dramatically in the past year. About ten companies that rent out camping cars have entered the market throughout Europe, and many choose Norway as their destination. This, of course, somewhat eases the pressure in terms of accommodation capacity. However, the traffic conditions mean that the capacity on the somewhat low-quality roads is somewhat degraded in the form of delays due to inexperienced drivers. Who are often not used to the cars they rent or the roads they will drive on.
But we still extend a warm welcome to everyone who wants to make the trip to Norway. There must be enough space in our Norwegian nature to be able to experience and enjoy your holiday.
We encourage everyone to be considerate in traffic and to allow plenty of time. Reduce your stress level, take good breaks, use maps and available information about the road and driving conditions.
