We are looking forward to an exciting season in 2025.

Bryggen - Bergen

The government has recently proposed a new tourist tax that could increase the price of accommodation at hotels, campsites and Airbnb by up to five percent. This could affect accommodation capacity, but it is also important to note that Norway has a wide range of accommodation options, from hotels and guesthouses to campsites and cabins.

Without us believing that this will affect this year's tourist traffic or next year's season. Norway is probably one of the few countries in the world that has not had any form of tourist tax. The high price level in Norway has in itself been a punitive tax for tourists in general.

Regardless, we are confident that the 2025 season will surpass 2024. See various places below that are worth visiting during your visit to Norway.

Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock.

Preikestolen: A spectacular cliff rising 604 meters above the Lysefjord. The hike to the top offers a fantastic view of the fjord and is a popular hiking route.

Geirangerfjord: One of Norway's most famous fjords, known for its impressive waterfalls and dramatic landscapes. The fjord is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Bergen and the fjords in Western Norway: Historic World Heritage, trendy restaurants and a progressive music scene. The city is surrounded by seven mountains and offers some of Norway's best museums.

Lofoten and Nordland: Mighty mountains, sparkling fjords, authentic fishing villages and chalk-white beaches. Lofoten and Vesterålen are known for their spectacular landscapes and nature experiences.

Tromsø and Finnmark: Experience the Northern Lights, whale watching and the midnight sun in the lively polar city of Tromsø. The region also offers great mountain hikes, mountain biking and Sami cultural experiences.

Oslo region: The capital offers exciting experiences, sculpture parks, galleries, concerts, festivals and world-class museums. The Oslofjord and the countryside provide opportunities for both city life and nature experiences.

Wishing you a pleasant and memorable stay in Norway.
